Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Our Services

DOT Compliance Specialists, a DBA of Cosmic Honey & Boutique, provides professional assistance with USDOT compliance filings, including but not limited to:

• MCS-150 Biennial Update — $199 professional service fee
• USDOT Reactivation — $499 professional service fee
• Out-of-Business Update — $299 professional service fee
• Authority Reinstatement — $599 professional service fee
• Lifetime Compliance Support — $1,600 professional service fee

Our listed prices are professional service fees. Any applicable government fee will be clearly disclosed separately before payment.

2. What You Receive

Upon purchase, you receive professional filing assistance from our team. Specifically:

• Review of your submitted information for completeness and accuracy
• Preparation and submission of the applicable FMCSA/USDOT filing on your behalf
• Email confirmation once your filing has been submitted
• Follow-up communication if additional information is required

Estimated completion time: Most standard filings are processed within 1–3 business days after we receive all required information. Complex cases or government processing delays may extend this timeframe. We do not control FMCSA or USDOT processing times.

3. Cancellation Policy

You may request a cancellation before we have begun work on your filing. To cancel, contact us as soon as possible at [email protected].

• Before work begins: Full refund minus any applicable payment processing fees.
• After work has begun: No refund. Once our team has started preparing or submitting your filing, the service fee is non-refundable because professional labor has been performed.
• After filing submission: No refund. The service has been fully delivered.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be issued in the following circumstances:

• You cancel before work has begun and contact us within 24 hours of purchase.
• We are unable to complete your filing due to an error on our part (not due to incomplete or inaccurate information you provided).
• A duplicate charge was made in error.

Refunds are not issued for: government processing delays, FMCSA rejections due to inaccurate information provided by the customer, or customer dissatisfaction with government agency timelines or decisions.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or cancellation, email us at [email protected] with your name, order reference number, and the reason for your request. We will respond within 2 business days.

6. Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or dispute with their payment provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly by emailing [email protected].

6a. Lifetime Compliance Support — Refund Terms

The following specific refund terms apply to the Lifetime Compliance Support service ($1,600 one-time fee):

• A cancellation may qualify for a refund only before onboarding, account review, monitoring, filing preparation, or any other work begins.
• Once any work begins — including account setup, record review, or any filing preparation — the Lifetime Compliance Support fee is non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
• The service is non-transferable. It ends if the business is sold, dissolved, changes legal ownership or EIN, receives a new USDOT number, or stops operating.
• No refund is issued for termination due to fraud, unlawful requests, abuse, nonpayment, or material violation of our Terms and Conditions.
